Not wearing the same shoes every day

Put the lasts, stretchers or shoetrees inside the shoes in order to best preserve their original shape

Waterproof your shoes before wearing them

Do not dry your shoes near a heat source

Before maintenance, dust the shoe with a brush or a soft cloth

Polish your shoes regularly: apply the shoe polish in small quantities and above all leave to dry well then polish with a soft cloth

For your suede or nubuck shoes, clean the shoe with a suede shampoo to remove stains and use a suede restorer spray to restore the original color. You can also use a suede eraser to remove stubborn stains

For exotic leathers, apply products adapted to the type of leather (reptile care, greasy nubuck, patent leather, braided leather, metallic leather, dipped lambskin, vintage look leather)

For shoes that are a little tight, use fabric softener

It is advisable to maintain your shoes at least once a week (cleaning and application of a maintenance product)

To improve comfort and ensure better hygiene for the foot, it is advisable to wear insoles

 

YOUR LEATHER GOODS ACCESSORIES

Store leather goods, especially bags, away from light. It is strongly advised to hang your leather bags on hangers or hooks to maintain their original shape.
